Avocados have high-quality fats that can steady our metabolism, keep our hormone levels even, nourish our skin, hair, and nails, and provide lubrication to keep the body functioning fluidly. Try this dip for a colourful snack!

Cooking Time


1 cup


  • 1 avocado, flesh scooped out
  • 1 small clove garlic, finely diced
  • 3 diced cherry tomatos
  • 1/2 lime
  • sea salt and black pepper


  1. Mash avocado with a fork until very smooth.
  2. Add garlic, tomato and the juice from the lime. 
  3. Blend until smooth with a fork.
  4. Add sea salt and fresh black pepper to taste.
  5. Serve on rice cakes or with mixed raw vegetables.


Best made a maximum of 1 hour before serving.  I really like to use the santini tomatoes from M&S as they are super sweet - but go for what you have at home.
